The work of rearranging books in the library is now in progress and those on Fine Arts, Archaeology and Music are being placed in their special alcoves.
Among the most valuable acquisitions recently placed in the Gore Hall library is a collection of music from the library of the late Professor Josiah D. Whitney.
Mr. John Corbin '92, who has been an instructor in English in Harvard College since October, 1895, has accepted an appointment as assistant editor of Harper's Monthly Magazine. The vacancy caused by his resignation is to be filled by Mr. Pierre LaRose '95.
