Football Practice.

The University eleven had its last practice yesterday before the Princeton game. The practice was secret, as usual, but it was given out that signal practice was followed by a short game, in which the teams lined up as follows:

FIRST ELEVEN. SECOND ELEVEN.

Brewer, l. e. r. e., Graydon.

Swain, l. t. r. t., Lee.

Bouve, l. g. r. g., Jaffray.

Doucette, c. c., Hoague.

Sargent, r. g. l. g., Burden.

Merriman, r. t. l. t., Woodward.

Moulton, r. e. l. e., Lewis.

Beale, q. b. q. b., Cochrane.

Sullivan, l. h. r. h., Brine.

Dunlop, r. h. l. h., Cozzens.

Brown, f. b. f. b., Dibblee.

Frank Shaw and Wheeler were both dressed to play but were not in the lineup. The former will play Saturday but the latter is still in doubt. Norton Shaw was not on the field yesterday at all, as the coaches thought it advisable to give him a rest until Saturday.

The only positions on the eleven which are now in doubt for Saturday's game are the tackles. Wheeler is uncertain, Mills is still laid up, and will probably not recover in time for the game, and Merriman's knee still bothers him a little. There is some talk of Gould, tackle on last year's team, who is now in the Medical School, playing, but this is very improbable as he is not in condition. Swain, Lee and Woodward are the only tackles who are uninjured and in good condition to play.

The Princeton eleven left Princeton yesterday evening and spent last night in New York. They will leave New York for Boston at nine o'clock this morning, and will arrive early in the afternoon.
