For the hare and hound run yesterday afternoon the hares, H. W. Foote '97 and A. W. Blakemore '97 laid a good course past Soldiers Field to Allston, over Corey Hill, around Jamaica Pond and home through the Park System over Harvard Bridge, making the break about a mile from the finish. The distance covered, 14 miles, was done by the hares in the good time of 1h. 32m. The hounds came in well bunched twenty three minutes after the hares.

The first seven men at the finish were: D. Grant M. S., W. C. Burton '99, F. B. Dutton '97, E. D. Fullerton '98, W. F. Porter '00, S. F. Rockwell '00, F. Heilig '97.

Next Tuesday, Dec. 1, the cross country championship run will start from the Gymnasium at 4 o'clock. The course will be five miles in length and each man will make his own pace from start to finish. Prizes are to be given to the first three men in. The finish will be opposite the Law School.
