The subject for debate at the meeting of the Freshman Debating Club Wednesday evening was "Resolved, That the action of the Advisory Committee in abolishing Freshman Intercollegiate Debating is inadvisable." The leader on the affirmative was A. L. Becker; on the negative, H. J. Davenport. The judges gave their decision in favor of the negative.
A motion was then made and passed that the executive committee notify all members of the club one week before they are expected to debate. The subject and speakers for the next debate have not yet been definitely decided upon by the executive committee.
