At a meeting of the Freshman Debating Club held last evening the following officers were elected for the first half year: President, W. P. Eaton; vice president, S. B. Snow; secretary, G. O. Smith; treasures, E. C. Carter; executive committee, H. H. Morse and the officers ex officio; to serve on the College Advisory Committee on Debating for the whole year, F. H. Stevens.
The regular debate for next Wednesday has been postponed one week, and instead the debate will be on the question, "Resolved, That the action of the Advisory Committee in abolishing Freshman intercollegiate debates is inadvisable." The leaders will be: Affirmative, H. J. Davenport; negative, A. LeR. Becker.
