The first concert of the Boston Symphony Orchestra will be held in Sanders Theatre, Thursday evening. Mr. Emil Paur is the conductor.
The following is the programme:
Mozart. Symphony in G minor, (Koechel, 550).
1. Allegro molto.
2. Andante.
3. Menuetto: Allegro. Trio.
4. Finale: Allegro assai.
Bach. Aria from Suite in D major, No. 1. Schubert. Funeral March.
Tschaikowsky. Concerto for Pianoforte,
No. 1, in B flat minor. Op. 23.
1. Allegro non troppo e molto moderato.
2. Allegro con spirito.
3. Andantino semplice.
4. Allegro con fuoco.
Beethoven. Overture. "Coriolanus."
