The 'Varsity football practice yesterday afternoon lacked the dash and determination which characterized the work last week.
Coaches Waters, Newell and Lewis, who were on the field, were much dissatified with the showing made by the players.
The first eleven made four touchdowns-two on flukes by Mills and Lewis, and two on rushing by Cozzens. The second eleven scored once as the second half closed, through a hard rush of 10 yards by Brown. The new plays used Saturday were again tried, although the linemen who were brought back didn't seem to go into the line hard enough to give them their full value.
Haughton and Cochrane were in the line-up again for a little while, and Donald was in his suit again and had a little exercise. Cabot and Wheeler were on the side lines; the former will be out again in a day or two, but the latter will not be able to play for ten days or more.
