The first meeting of the Debating Club will be on Friday, the 30th inst., from 3 to 5, in Sever 6. The Club is open to all students of Harvard College and the Law School.
Department of French and Cercle Francais.Three lectures, open to the public, will be given on Friday evenings, in the months of October and November, in the Lecture Room of the Fogg Museum. The dates, subjects and lectures are:-
Oct. 30.- Professor Baker: Moliere in the English drama.
Nov. 6.- Professor de Sumichrast: Marivaux and Goldsmith.
Nov. 13.- Professor Wendell: The value of an appreciation of French style to writers in English.
