Harvard's victory in the intercollegiate chess match, though won by a small margin, was a very satisfactory one. The contest with Columbia was intensely exciting and the winning of the individual championship by the latter college made the division of honors a very even one. We congratulate Harvard's representatives on their well-earned success.
