Professor Peabody's letter gives the assurance that the Day of Prayer for Colleges will be fittingly observed both in the morning Chapel service and in the usual Vesper Service of Thursday, as has been the custom in former years. We believe that this will meet the desire of all members of the University who think that the day should not pass without some reference to its special associations. As we have before remarked, the Chapel service seems the one in which the University as a whole can most fittingly unite on this occasion.
