The lack of suitable rowing machines very seriously impedes the progress of the indoor training of the class crews. This is a matter which the public spirit of each class should not allow to remain as it is at present. We understand that of the $240 necessary to provide good machines like those used by the University crew, the management of the latter will contribute $100 if the class crew managers will raise the rest. The small amount required should easily be raised at once by the three upper classes.
