In disposing of any books they may have gathered during their college course, seniors should always have the various departmental libraries in mind. By these libraries they have often profited, and so should be able to appreciate the value and importance of them. It is, of course, not to be expected that seniors should give up books which they themselves would probably need; but of the many which are each year set aside for good and allowed to stand unused, there are sure to be some which would make very desirable additions to one or other of the libraries. The departments are doing a great service to students by their attempts to reserve special books, and they should be aided in every way. It is but a small matter to transfer spare books to them when the college course is done.
