Cercle Francais.

At the last meeting of the executive committee of the Cercle Francais, "Le Malade Imaginaire" of Moliere was chosen definitely as the play for next year. This comedy was preferred to others that had been suggested because of its life and movement. It abounds in witty dialogues and humorous situations. Besides the play itself there is a prologue of singing and dancing, several intermedes of ballet, and a grand finale of the conferring of the doctor's degree. To give the play and all these accessories a cast of about fifty, at least, will be required. To meet the expenses resulting from such a large undertaking, four permances will be given instead of the usual two.
