The preliminary events in the intercollegiate games were all completed yesterday under the most favorable conditions, records being broken in the bicycle race and in throwing the hammer.
Unfortunately the press reports last night were not quite complete. The tabulated score follows. In the 440 yards dash no mention is made of Mansfield and Vincent, who both won places. Bingham was shut out of a place by straining his leg at the start.

B. C. Byers of Yale, who ran third in the third heat of the 100 yards was allowed to run in the second trial, as the judges disagreed in the placing of Judd of Pennsylvania second.
