The sophomore nine did not go to Southboro yesterday to play the game arranged with St. Marks, owing to a neglect to comply with the rule which requires a class nine to petition the Faculty for permission to leave Cambridge on any day but Saturday. The nine was instead given some lively practice in fielding and batting.
