Freshman Baseball.

Yesterday afternoon the fresman nine went through some light practice in fielding. Special attention was paid to the infield. The nine has improved greatly within the last two weeks, but there is still room for improvement. As a rule the throwing is much better than the catching of the team and the batting is still weak. Today the nine will play its second game with Groton School at Groton. The same men will be played as before, with the exception of Brown, who has the mumps.

The batting order of both teams is as follows:

HARVARD '98. GROTON.

McVey, 3b. p, Haughten.

Haskell, s.s. c., Sturgis.
