The regular meeting of the Wendell Phillips Club will be held this evening in Harvard 1, at 7.30. The question for debate will be: "Resolved, That the ethical drama has a bad effect on public morals." H. G. Gray '96 and R. H. E. Starr '96 will speak on the affirmative; R. B. Sprague '97 and R. G. Valentine '96, on the negative.
A week from tonight there will be held a competitive debate for membership, the last of the year, open to all members of the University, but especially to freshmen. The subject will be: "Resolved, That the president's term of office be lengthened to six years and that he be ineligible for re-election." The meeting will be opened by two principal disputants, after which the debate will be thrown open for five minute speeches from the house.
