Mr. Henry W. Hodge, C. E. of New York, is to lecture before the Engineering Society on Friday evening, April 26, at 7.45 in the Jefferson Physical Laboratory. Mr. Hodges graduated in the class of '85 of the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and was for some years connected with the Phoenix Bridge Co. He was afterwards manager of the Union Iron works in New York. The subject of his lecture is "Bridge Erection" and it will be fully illustrated by lantern slides, a complete set of which has been collected by Mr. Hodge especially for this lecture. The lecture will be open to the public.
