The Harvard Union will hold a competitive debate for membership next week Friday. This will be the last chance for men to speak for membership this year, except that freshmen will be given a chance after the spring vacation. The question for the debate of April 5 is: "Resolved, That Japan Should be Given Equal Treaty Right with Other Nations." There will be a regular debate of four principal disputants, after which candidates for membership will be recognized for five-minute speeches. All members of the University are cordially invited to speak.
