Owing to a severe blister on Hollister's hand, he did not row yesterday and will be obliged to lay off for some days to come. His absence necessitated a complete shaking up of yesterday's crew. As the 'varsity was rowing back to the boat house on a four mile stretch from the Craigie Bridge, they met the sophomores, also going up the river, and a lively race of half a mile ensued. Neither crew gained any decided advantage, though the 'varsity was rowing with strapped seats while the sophomores were using their full slide.
