J. A. LEIGHTON.MERMAID CLUB. - Regular meeting this evening at 9.30 in 18 Little's. Farquhar's "Inconstant, or The Way to Win a Woman" will be read. As this is the annual meeting at which officers for the ensuing year will be elected, all members are urgently requested to be present.

A TEXT-BOOK in free-hand drawing is greatly needed at the Prospect Union. Any one who has one he is willing to give will greatly oblige by dropping a postal to 43 Matthews Hall.

CHESS CLUB. - The following men will start from Harvard Square at 7 p.m. sharp, Saturday to take part in a team match with the Boston Chess Club at its rooms in 18 Boylston Place, Boston: Ballou, Schoenfeld, Hewins, Lewis, Van Kleeck, Fay, Davis, Peck, Ryder, Spalding, Southard, Barnard.
