This week Mr. Lathrop has reduced the starting squad by taking out the men who will not enter the sprints or the 440 yards dash.

The Yale indoor games take place tomorrow. Hoyt, the pole vaulter, is the only Harvard entry. On March 30 the New England Indoor Championship meeting will be held at Worcester, in the Skating Rink. The events, which are to be all scratch, are the same as last year except that the 300 yards dash will be omitted, and the 40 yards dash substituted for the 75 yards dash.

Last year Harvard showed up well, carrying off three firsts, three seconds and four thirds. Of these place-winners the only men now in training are Chaney, Coolidge and Stickney. Mr. Lathrop hopes that as many good men as possible will enter this year, so that Harvard may keep up her record. The entries close next Saturday.

There will probably be three team races: Worcester Athletic Club vs. B. A. A.; Worcester Polytechnic vs. M. I. T., or some other college; Worcester High School vs. Worcester Academy.

The quarter mile trials which have had to be postponed since last Friday on account of the snow, were run off yesterday. J. L. Bremer '96 ran the distance in 54 1/5 seconds, thus equalling the track record.
