The candidates yesterday went through the regular daily drill. Captain Whittemore watched the men for a few moments, then coached the freshmen for the rest of the afternoon, leaving the 'varsity squad in the hands of J. J. Hayes, Jr., '96. Today the number of candidates will be reduced and on Monday, if the weather is suitable the squad will practice out of doors.
