7 5t*IT has been ten or twelve years since Boston has seen the dainty little Lotta in her most famous play, "Zip." This play is now at the Museum and the centre of interest is Annie Lewis, who takes the title role for the first time. She undoubtedly appears to better advantage in this play than any in which she has ever taken a part.

While the methods of development are somewhat old-fashioned, the story is bright and pleasing and the comedy unusually entertaining. Miss Lewis lends to the effect by her songs and dances.

J. H. Ryley takes the part of "Philosophy Jack," and George Marion makes a most successful hit as "Galetti," the Italian. Shendan Block carries out the role of villain with good effect. Annie Clarke plays her part to perfection. The rest of the characters are Arthur Forrest as Chauncey Elmore; Edgar Halstead, the Sir William: Harry Davenport, the Father Phelps; Helen Doyne, the Fanny, and Mrs. Pennoyer, the Amanda.
