Mr. Torrey addressed the Boylston Chemical Club last evening on the subject of the measurement of high temperatures. He gave an interesting account of the various methods and showed the need of increased accuracy.
At a business meeting it was voted to retain the following officers for the second half year: President, G. E. Oenslager; vice-president, F. L. Hitchcock; secretary, F. S. Hatch; treasurer, A. B. Clapp; third member of executive committee, W. H. Price; curator, H. E. Sawyer.
