The entire University can not but be gratified at the opportunity which will hereafter be given to follow the training of the crew. We believe that this change in policy will prove a great benefit to Harvard's rowing interests. A spirit of reluctant acquiescence in a policy of secrecy might in time be cultivated, but would never lead to that whole-hearted support of a crew which is almost essential to its success.
