The selection of speakers in behalf of the Harvard Union and the Harvard Forum for the debate which is to take place between the two clubs has conconsiderable interest as showing roughly from what men Harvard's intercollegiate representatives are to be picked. The work which they will do in preparation for the debate is not of such a nature as to be prominently before the University but it is as important for the end in view as the prelimnary training of a football squad is for the big games. Our debaters are doing a distinct service to the University and should be accorded the credit which such service deserves.
