Charles S. Jeffries, a student of the freshman class, died very suddenly yesterday from typhoid fever. He had been sick for several days, but it was not thought until very recently that his illness was at all dangerous.
He was the only son of Dr. Jeffries of Boston, and prepared for college at Mr. Hopkinson's School. He was very well known in his class and was universally respected and loved.
