The second lecture in the course on the Western Campaigns of the Civil War, by John Fiske, LL. D., will be given this evening at 7.45 o'clock, in Sanders Theatre. The subject announced is: "From New Orleans to Stone River." The lecture will be illustrated by the stereopticon. It is open to the public.
The subjects for the next two lectures will be:

IV. Friday, December 20. Chattanooga.
