The class football series which, unless there should be a third tie, comes to an end with today's game, has been one of the most interesting that has taken place for years. The good influence upon football which such a close and healthy rivalry exerts is inestimable and it is much to be regretted that the College has not shown a better appreciation of the fact. It should not be necessary to urge everyone who can to go down to the field today. The interest which centres in the final contest is sure to draw a larger crowd than that which was present at the earlier games; but still there are not a few who will have a tendency to stay away from sheer inertia. It will do them good and benefit the sport if they will overcome this for once and for all.
