PAUL DAY, Ch.THE men who have expressed their intention of going on the excursion to the Deer Island penal institution this afternoon, must be in the Square at 12.30, sharp, as those who are there then will start promptly. There is room for about five more men who may wish to go on the trip, the object of which is to examine carefully the Boston system of caring for criminals and paupers. The party will be taken down the harbor in the government boat and will return to Cambridge before 7 p. m.
