Rev. Benaniab L. Whitcomb, D. D., the new president of Columbian University, was inaugurated Friday evening. Rev. Samuel M. Greene presided, and addresses were made by President Patton, of Princeton, Rev. Dr. A. H. Strong, of Rochester Theological Seminary, and the incoming president. President Whitcomb's address was entitled "The Mission of Culture."
