Mr. Roosevelt Entertained.

A reception was given last night, at the house of Bishop Lawrence on Brattle street, in honor of Mr. Theodore Roosevelt of New York. The guests were almost exclusively Harvard men.

Mr. Roosevelt made a short address in which he denied the much talked of "Harvard indifference." He dwelt upon the great value of putting enthusiasm into every thing that one does. He said he believed that there was as much enthusiasm in the Harvard men as in any other large body of students.

After the talk refreshments were served and the guests were introduced to Mr. Roosevelt and a very pleasant evening was passed. Among the invited guests was Dr. Peabody, principal of Groton School.
