MEMORIAL SOCIETY.- There will be an important meeting of the Memorial committee at 3 Thayer Hall, Monday, Nov. 18, at 2.30 p. m. This meeting will approve the "Massachusetts," "Harvard," and "Stoughton" memorials which have been prepared.

ARTHUR C. TRAIN, Sec.CARLYLE CENTENARY.- Dec. 4 is the hundredth anniversary of the birth of Thomas Carlyle. It seems as if those of us who care for his work should not let the day pass without some fitting observance. All such men are invited to meet at 7.15 Tuesday evening at 11 Weld to talk over plans.
