A very welcome announcement comes from Atlanta to the effect that President Eliot's recent visit to that city and the dinner given in his honor by the Harvard graduates there, have been made the occasion of the forming of the Harvard Club of Atlanta. It has been a noteworthy fact in the past that the Southern graduates, though relatively few in number, are among the most enthusiastic in their support of the University. We are sure that the formation of this new club will serve not only to keep up the active interest of the graduates but also to make Harvard better known in that part of the south.
