The Christian Association held its weekly meeting last night in Holden Chapel. C. E. Noyes, Gr., led, and gave a short talk on "Our Christianity." He said that college men are tested more than other men and their Christianity becomes a life instead of a formula and a creed. As they make their Christianity a life, evil becomes inconsistent with that life and thus is more easily kept out of it.
Several members then delivered short addresses on the same subject. After this there was a short business meeting , and the following men were admitted to membership: J. H. Hathaway '96, R. W. Alden Gr., C. L. Partridge Gr., W. V. McDuffee Med., J. W. Phelps '96, R. G. Leypoldt Sp., W. P. Stanley '99, L. F. Crawford Sp., W. E. Dowty '97, F. E. Hyde '98, G. D. Marvin '99, L. A. Carris '98, W. C. Roper '99, W. Soderling '99.
Next Saturday evening there will be a meeting in Holden Chapel for men who are willing to visit the Sailor Mission. During the Week of Prayer for Colleges, which comes Nov. 10 to 16, the Association will hold two meetings, probably on Monday and Wednesday evenings. The subject will be "Prayer." On the 18th the Association will probably hold its annual social meeting.
