In the practice yesterday afternoon Gonterman again showed up prominently. He made several long runs but in particular one of fifty yards. Of the three touchdowns scored by the first eleven he made two and C. Brewer made the other.
On the second eleven Knox did some plucky work, making one run of twenty-five yards. Townsend and Newell also did some good work. Both tackled well and stopped the plays around their ends.
Cranston '92, was again on the field to coach Holt who has not done so well lately. Yesterday several plays were made through Holt by the second eleven. The first eleven lost many yards because Holt kept getting off side.
Hayes, as usual, played a steady game behind the line. Once he dragged himself several yards with three men hanging to him.
The line up yesterday was:
FIRST. SECOND.
Cabot, l. e. r. e., Selfridge.
r. e., A. Brewer, Newell.
Hallowell, l. t. r. t., Duffield.
