R. T. Parke '98, beat A. Ingraham '96, yesterday in the finals of the fall tournament. Only in the last set was the match closely contested.

Parke played a good all around game, his only weak point being his inability to handle lobs when at the net. His places both from the net and from the backcourt were very accurate. He also had a swift service which his opponent was unable to return effectively.

Ingraham played his usual careful and steady game, but could not play Parke closely except in the last set. He took only two games in the first two sets, but in the third he began to lob, and kept Parke most of the time in the back court. It was anyone's set until, with the score nine all, Parke ran out the set by placing and by Ingraham's drives into the net.

On Monday at two o'clock the match for the championship of the University will be played between Wrenn, the present holder, and Parke.
