The 'varsity crew is practicing daily on the river in anticipation of the race with the Boston Athletic Association on the 25th. Mr. Watson coaches from the launch which now follows the crew. The men rowed today as follows:
Stroke, Bullard; 7, Jennings; 6, R. Stevenson; 5, Perkins; 4, Ames; 3, Hollister; 2, Chatman; bow, Goodrich; cox., Rust.
The freshman crew picked out by Mr. Watson go out in their boat every day. They have shown great improvement lately but are not yet using the full stroke. The men are good size and when the football men join the squad it looks as if there would be a strong crew.
