The Harvard Athletic Association has a special claim upon the direct support of members of the University inasmuch as whatever income is derived from the few public meetings which it holds during the year falls far short of the amount necessary for meeting the annual expenses. Students can best give their support by joining the association. The admission fee is a very small sum considering that it entitles each member to the privileges of the association throughout his college course. The best time for everyone to join, is therefore the present.
We trust that members of the freshman class, especially, will appreciate their duty to the University in this regard.
