The first number of the Advocate for this year has just appeared. The new number contains several excellent articles, and is throughout of considerable interest. A noticeable thing in this first number of the Advocate is that most of the stories are written by graduates of the University. In former years the Monthly has been the only college paper to receive many contributions from graduates of the University and instructors in the University.
