Rev. Samuel D. Hosmer of the class of 1850, one of the oldest Congregational ministers in Worcester County, died at his home in Worcester, Tuesday evening at the advanced age of 65 years. He had held several pastorates in Eastport, Me., Nantucket, Hyde Park, South Natick and Auburn, and up to the time of his death supplied the pulpit of the Baptist Church in Grafton. He was deeply interested in antiquarian subjects and contributed papers on different topics.
