All arrangements for the Harvard Yale debate, to be held tonight in Sanders Theatre, have been completed by the committee. The sale of seats has been large and when the speakers ascend the platform they should face an audience which will test the capacity of the theatre. The Radcliffe Union will attend in a body and a large delegation from the Wellesley debating and literary societies will be present.
The Yale representatives will arrive from New Haven this afternoon. They will be met and escorted to their hotel in Boston, coming out to Cambridge just before the debate.
There is every reason to expect an excellent contest, as both sides have been working hard, the Harvard men with a determination to maintain the record of unbroken victories in debate, the Yale representatives with the hope of reversing the tide of fortune.
The debate will begin at eight o'clock and the audience are requested to be prompt in attendance.
The sale of the remaining tickets will be continued throughout the day at Thurston's. While all the best places are sold, many satisfactory seats may still be bad.
