The features of the game with Vermont yesterday were rather loose fielding and terrific batting. Harvard's reord of 13 hits with a total of 36 has not been approached here for years. O'Malley hurt his finger badly in the fourth inning and his place was taken by Corbett who did very well, considering his lack of practice. He held men to the bases finely.
The Vermont team batted fairly well but their fielding was poor.
