The Freshman Crew.

In spite of accidents to its members, the freshman crew has continued to improve since the class races. The stroke is still pretty ragged, the finish being poor, and the oars uneven at the catch. The men have not been taught to use their legs as yet.

The crew was stroked yesterday by Irving, who has been laid up the past week with a sprained back. Hollister is now rowing regularly again after a few days off with a bad arm.

The definite make-up of the crew cannot as yet be told. Changes of the men in the boat may be made at any time.

A few statistics concerning the members of the crew may be of interest.
