sum has already been given. Of course if more than this could be raised by subscription it would be a great help.
The new quarters will give the Union room to grow a great deal larger than it now is. It is intended to have in the basement, bowling alleys, a gymnasium, shower baths, and the priting office in which the Prospect Union Review is printed. The front of the first floor is to be rented; in the rear will be two class rooms and, if it is found practicable, a laboratory. On the second floor will be a lecture hall seating 450 persons, reading room and library, and three class rooms. On the next floor will be five class rooms. Above this will be dormitories which will be rented to members of the Union, and it is hoped to some of the students who are most actively interested in the Union.
It is hoped next year to have more and better courses of study at the Union than have been given this year, and to this end the teachers are now working.
