The plan which has been presented by the committee from the Corporation in regard to Memorial will bring matters to an issue. That some such plan was bound to come in the course of time has long been evident. With regard to the details of the plan actually presented, it strikes us that the number at club tables has been put needlessly and dangerously high. Eighteen men to fourteen seats would be a safe proportion. The danger increases rapidly with every further increase in the number of men.
