A course of lectures on Anthropology is to be given in the Peabody Museum on Wednesday afternoons at three o'clock, beginning today. The first lecture will be given by Professor Putnam on "Anthropology and What it Includes." These lectures are already announced:

Early Culture in India, by Professor Lanman.
Prehistoric Remains at Troy, Mycenae and Tiryns, by Professor Goodwin.
Language, by Professor Toy.
