'Varsity Baseball.

Considering the blustering, chilly weather of yesterday afternoon the baseball practice was fairly good. Some of the men were erratic in their fielding but doubtless the cold was accoutable for much of the fumbling. Two professional pitchers, Condry and Sullivan pitched to the men at the nets for nearly an hour while Wiggin and Sullivan coached the men in batting. The two teams were made up as follows:

First nine-p., Ames, Highlands; c., O'Malley; 1b., Dickinson; 2b., Whittemore; 3b., Stevenson; ss., Dean; l. f., Paine; c. f., Gonterman; r. f., McCarthy.

Second nine-p., Perry; c., Scannell; 1b, Griffin; 2b., Hapgood; 3b., Brown; ss., Winslow; l. f., Selfridge; c. f., Manley; r. f., Garrison.
