The Amherst College musical clubs are planning a trip through England and Scotland for the coming summer.

Between $50,000 and $100,000, the exact amount has not yet been determined, has been left to Yale by the will of Richard S. Ely, to found professorships in the academic, law and medical departments.

"The Geological History of Harbors," by Prof. N. S. Shaler has just been published by the Government Printing Office in Washington. This is the largest single treatise on the subject which has yet been written.
